Scientific Protein Laboratories LLC (SPL) produces cGMP bulk API's sold to pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies around the world. Key products are heparin sodium and pancreatic enzymes. SPL is one of the world's largest independent producers of heparin sodium and pancreatic enzymes with over 30 years experience. Specialized competencies include extractions and purifications of active ingredients from naturally sources both animal and plant. SPL also offers custom biopharmaceutical manufacturing and process development in a state of the art cGMP facility located in Waunakee, WI (Madison). Capabilities: microbial fermentation (to 400L), cell disruption, centrifugation, ultra filtration, reverse osmosis, column chromatography and lyophilization.
