Sahil Shah is an Operations Manager at SGS Canada where he leads the Biologics department’s efforts on developing and validating analytical test method(s) to support Characterization and GMP testing for a wide range of pre-clinical to commercial phase biotherapeutics. Sahil is a Protein Chemist and has 18+ years of experience in CMC analytics for biologics including biosimilars, novel biologics, cell and gene therapies, and vaccines. His industry experience spans from early phase discovery to commercial stage. He is well versed with process and product development in conjunction with regulatory requirements that can bring molecule from bench to market. Before joining SGS, Sahil worked with a Biopharmaceutical manufacturing company and contributed to the development of several biosimilars and novel biologics, from cytokines, hormones, monoclonal antibodies, ADCs to Fusion proteins.
