Arjen Akkerman is Senior Director of ICON’s Accelerated Pharmaceutical Solutions division which provides a seamless, end-to-end approach to formulation development and optimisation for small molecules and biologics. Arjen’s field of expertise includes oral and parenteral formulations including radiolabeled Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) for use in early phase clinical trials and microdose/microtracer formulations. He also provides global support to operational teams and business development for CMC related services. He is an experienced GMP/QP auditor and holds a Pharmaceutical Degree from the University of Groningen in The Netherlands.
