Ciarán Feeney is head of Scientific Procurement at the EDQM, Council of Europe. He oversees the sourcing of candidate reference materials used to establish European Pharmacopoeia Reference Standards. With over 13 years experience at the EDQM across reference standards and regulatory assessment, he previously worked in the Certification of Suitability (CEP) Department as a supervisor responsible for evaluating of active substance CEP applications. He also consulted for the World Health Organization in their Prequalification of Medicines programme. Mr. Feeney's broad expertise in compendial reference standards and medicines regulation provides a practical perspective on analytical reference standards, supply chain resilience, and pharmaceutical quality.
