Gautam Shetty is the founder and CEO of Congruence Medical Solutions, LLC and is based in Baltimore Maryland USA. Congruence Medical Solutions, is involved in design, development and supply of innovative device solutions for applications involving injection of microliter volumes, maximizing flexibility for injections and minimizing drug waste. Prior to Congruence Medical Solutions, Gautam was responsible for all operations of the Novel Drug Delivery Systems business unit at Unilife Corporation, where he pioneered development of ophthalmic drug delivery devices, targeted organ delivery systems and other novel drug delivery devices. Prior to that, Gautam was with Becton Dickinson & Co. (BD) where he held roles involving R&D, Strategic Marketing, Commercialization Planning and M&A. Gautam holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. He has authored several patents in the injectable drug delivery device space covering ocular drug delivery systems, novel delivery systems, pen injectors and patch pumps.
