"PhD in Molecular Physiology and Structural Biology from the University of Padua, extensive experience in neuroscience and nanomaterials. Federico Benetti graduated in Biology from the University of Padua and obtained a PhD in Molecular Physiology and Structural Biology from the same university. He then joined the Laboratory of Prion Biology at SISSA (International School for Advanced Studies, Trieste). Since 2003, he has focused his research on the physiology and pathology of micronutrients, developing and applying advanced in vitro models to define the bioavailability and efficacy of formulations. Since 2011, he has also been involved in the sustainable development of nanotechnology at ECSIN LAB (European Centre for the Sustainable Impact of Nanotechnology), where he currently holds the position of Executive Director of the Laboratory."
