Educated as an electrical engineer with a master's in supply chain management from the Pennsylvania State University, he has been instrumental in transforming a plastics manufacturing business into a company that is sought after by customers, suppliers and investors alike. He has successfully positioned Shaily as one of very few manufacturers of complex drug delivery devices and primary packaging for both domestic and regulated markets from India. Prior to joining Shaily, Amit has worked as a business process consultant for global beverage majors such as Pepsi and Coke.
