Holger Becker is leading GELITA’s global application technology and product development of gelatin for pharmaceutical, industrial and life science applications. He has experience with natural biopolymers for more than 20 years and joined GELITA in 2013 to coordinate the development of innovative gelatin solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to that, Holger worked for 10 years at Naturin Viscofan GmbH, a market leader in the food industry. His responsibilities included the development of edible collagen casings and collagen products for bioengineering and regenerative medicine. Holger studied chemistry and in his scientific career he worked together with BASF on acrylic polymers.
