With MBAs from both Egypt and the USA, I have spent my career advancing healthcare solutions, serving patients across therapeutic areas including cardiometabolic health, respiratory diseases, oncology, and more. In my journey at Evapharma, I first served as General Manager for five years, before leading strategic partnerships with global giants Lilly and Gilead. I oversaw critical operations, from sales and marketing to regulatory and distribution efforts across Egypt, Libya, Sudan, and several African countries. During this time, Evapharma earned the trust of Gilead, receiving the license to produce and distribute Remdesivir across 126 countries during the COVID-19 pandemic. Simultaneously, we partnered with Lilly to locally produce insulin, making it accessible to patients in 56 low- and middle-income countries. Recently, I’ve taken on the role of Managing Director for Evapharma’s Saudi Arabia cluster. I am leading a bold investment exceeding $100 million, aimed at establishing a manufacturing facility and launching over 100 products in the next three years. This venture is aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, focused on localizing pharmaceutical production and enhancing healthcare outcomes in the region.
