Bart Van Acker is the CEO of QbD Group, a company that offers knowledge and tailored solutions in development, clinical, regulatory & compliance, production, and distribution for companies active in Pharma, Biotech, and Medical Devices. Bart founded QbD Group in 2011 after years of working for an IT consultancy firm. His vision and leadership have been instrumental in the company's growth and success. Bart holds a degree in Bio Engineering with a specialization in cell & gene biotechnology. His deep understanding of the market needs and his ability to build the right network quickly brought in the first projects for QbD. Under his leadership, QbD has grown to have more than 600 employees in eight different countries, including Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, France, Austria, Suisse, Mexico, and Colombia, and serves about 1000 different clients. As the CEO, Bart is responsible for managing, organizing, and planning all knowledge activities within the company. He is involved in effective resource planning and acts as the single point of contact for the supporting departments and other divisions. Bart is also responsible for achieving the KPIs of the company and translating strategic objectives into concrete action plans. Bart represents QbD at various networking events and sits on different Boards of Directors, including ISPE and Flanders.bio.
