Dr. Scarlato has 30+ years of Pharmaceutical DS and DP Research and Business Development leadership. Before joining the Serán team, Gerard was Head of BD at Seqens and Raybow small molecule divisions and served as Head of North America Sales at the Lonza Capsule Delivery Solutions division. He has a B.S. in Biochemistry from UW-Madison, a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from UCLA and was a post-doctoral fellow at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA with Prof. K.C. Nicolaou.
