Joshua Robinson is the CEO of Cocoon Bioscience since its inception. He previously led the Agriculture and Healthcare Business Units of Zymergen through $300 Mn acquisition by Ginkgo Bioworks. He has previous start-up leadership experience as part of the founding team at venture-backed diagnostic company Nirmidas Biotech in 2014 and is a partnership and innovation lead at Clorox, a Fortune 500 CPG company. Joshua has over 25 scientific publications which have been cited over >20,000 times and he has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Stanford University.
