Assuming the position in February 2019, he is responsible to Create, Lead and Grow the Overall Operation, with key stakeholders, to positively contribute to the groups business by accessing Emcure’s high quality, cost effective range of medicines. Amr has a University Degree, with Honors, in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Greenwich University, London. He has worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 1998 for companies like Pfizer, Aventis (now Sanofi), Hexal (part of the Sandoz Group), Sandoz (a Novartis company) and Apotex. Amr’s 26 years of pharmaceutical industry experience has gained him insights in Branded and Generic industries at varying levels. His prior responsibilities included Sales/Key Account Management, Product/Marketing Management, Commercial Operations and out-licensing. Amr’s positive leadership track record has been shown in varying structures ranging from small start-ups to large established corporations throughout the Middle-East and Africa Region.
