Jakub Knurek

Jakub Knurek is a scientist by training and communicator by choice who is deeply committed to shaping the future of biopharma. With a background in biochemistry and over a decade of experience in research, he has authored 17 scientific publications, participated in more than 40 conferences, and transitioned from the lab bench to strategic marketing within the pharmaceutical industry. He currently works as a Marketing Specialist at Mabion S.A., a European CDMO focused on biologics, where he leads their corporate presence on LinkedIn, co-develops their marketing strategy, and oversees campaigns for global events. In 2024–2025, Knurek represented Mabion at BIO International CPHI Milan (where he spoke on the "Future Pharma Workforce" discussion panel), CPHI Barcelona, and 2nd Global Biologics India, with these initiatives directly supporting lead generation, brand positioning, and NDA acquisitions. Alongside his work in the biopharma sector, he has co-founded his own company—a project that allows him to apply science in a direct, human-centered way. Their lead product supports liver health and alcohol metabolism and has been used by over 1,000 people to date, with 96% confirming noticeable benefits. This experience has taught him how to bridge research and real-world impact and continues to fuel his belief that biotech can make everyday life better. Whether designing a marketing campaign or speaking at a conference, Knurek strives to connect science with purpose, seeing his role as building bridges between researchers and business, startups and strategy, Europe and the world. He believes pharma needs more hybrid voices - people who understand both the data and the dialogue - and takes pride in being one of them.
