In the rapidly evolving field of sustainability, suppliers to the medical industry are seeking ways to minimize their environmental impact and shift their value creation from linear to circular business and product solutions.
One of Lesjöfors' focus areas is Sustainable Innovations. To reduce the environmental impact of springs and pressings, a project has been initiated in 2023 which focuses on Life Cycle Analysis, Product Carbon Footprint and Eco-Design.
In this session we are going to explore how the results and findings from this project offer opportunities for value creation and collaboration in medical applications, as well as for the development of a platform for innovation along the value chain.
