Mindful Working - Managing Stress, Uncertainty and Worry

Information

The pandemic has brought fresh challenges for our mental health and wellbeing. With many of us living through lockdowns, working in our makeshift home offices and juggling home-schooling or caring for relatives, it's important to find time to look after you.

Our 'Mindful Working' Series encourages you to shift perspective inwards and take some time for you. Our brains are wired to perceive uncertainty as threat and to initiate the stress response system. Understanding this enables us to manage it.

This video deals with managing short and long-term stress in ourselves as well as focusing on our locus of control.

We also speak with pharma entrepreneur, Manel Chikh, on the kind of stressors we encounter in our own industry, and the best way to navigate uncertainty.
