To meet these needs, Nemera and Schott jointly collaborated on a large volume manual injection platform integrating a 5.5 mL prefilled glass syringe with a dedicated safety system.

Designed around patient experience by leveraging user-centered design expertise, safety-system know-how, and recent advances in 5.5ml prefilled syringes development.

Human Factor study has been conducted, ultimately assessing the device’s ease of self administration. Results demonstrate that well designed manual systems can overcome usability barriers and provide a safe, effective, and practical alternative for large volume self injection.

From a technical standpoint, the platform was designed and verified through a comprehensive compatibility framework, ensuring robustness and reliability for high volume administration."
