Bin mixers

Cos.Mec offers effective solutions for pharmaceutical mixing processes, ensuring homogeneous blending in closed environments. Our mixers for palletized and wheeled bins (and for drums) represent an ideal solution for mixing pharmaceutical powders and granules inside containers that can be of very different volumes (50-1250 liters for wheeled bins and 50-2500 liters for palletized bins). The blending quality achieved is very high particularly with the use of the mixer's double inclination feature combined with the effects of alternated clockwise and anticlockwise rotation. The machine automation is based on the use of a Siemens touch screen and PLC that make it possible to set automatic blending cycles with specific speeds and durations and to print reports. Our bin mixers are made of AISI 304 stainless steel with seamless weldings and external satin polishing RA ?0.8MuM. Optional features include: the double inclination of the mixer's rotation axis, bar code readers for batch automation identification, protection panels around the working area made of stainless steel and lexan and ex proof electrical components (protection class EEX-d-IIB T4).
