VIJOINT - VISCOSUPPLEMENTATION
Products

Information
Vijoint, provides a linear intermediate (~1,000-1,500 KDa) Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid (HA) for intra-articular viscosupplementation. A recent review highlights that:HA preparations with Molecular weight (MW) between 500 and 1,500 KDa can achieve maximum concentration in the jointthe intermediate MW HA compounds are superior than those with low MW(2) and equivalent to higher MW ones(1) EFFICACY IN COUNTERACTING THE QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE HA DEFICIENCY IN OSTEOARTHRITIS (OA). VIJOINT OFFERS A WIDE RANGE OF HA CONCENTRATIONS AND VOLUMES FOR ALL TYPES OF JOINTS AND PATIENTS. YOUNG TARGET MECHANICAL ACTIVITY restoring viscoelastic properties of synovial fluidshock absorptionlubricationreducing stifnessCHONDROPROTECTION ACTIVITY preventing cartilage degeneration by oxidative stress inhibitionstimulating the endogenous synthesis of HA by synovial fibroblasts ELDER TARGET ANALGESIC ACTIVITY reducing the induction of pain mediatorsinteracting with HA receptors on or around the free nerve endingsANTI-INFLAMMATORY ACTIVITY suppressing proinflammatory mediators: IL8, IL6,PGE2 TNFinhibiting migration and aggregation of leukocyte and macrophages
