Solaraze is a clear cutaneous solution (5mg fluorouracil + 10mg salicylic acid) for the treatment of slightly palpable and/or moderately thick hyperkeratotic actinic keratosis (grade I/II) in adults. It is efficacuous and safe when applied once daily on a 25cm2 area, targeting up to 10 lesions simultaneously with a response seen as early as in 4 weeks, increasing over time unti 12 weeks. It shows lower recurrence and higher rate of healing than cryotherapy as a monotherapy.
