COMPACTROL(R) is a specially processed Calcium Sulfate Dihydrate for use as a filler in tablets made by direct compression or for use as a binder in wet granulation. COMPACTROL(R) is an inorganic material that is mainly used in wet granulations to improve the binding properties, especially in classic granulations that use starch or cellulose as a base. It has high calcium content and can be used in dietary supplements as a source of calcium.
