CARBOWAX(TM) SENTRY(TM) Liquid Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) is a pharmaceutical excipient which can be used in the manufacturing of gel capsules as hydrophilic fillers aiding solubilization of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). PEG also acts as a plasticizer in the coating of gel capsules. Our liquid PEG excipients enable a reduced risk of cross linking and contain lower impurity profiles, all while meeting the highest regulatory standards. PuraGuard(TM) PG USP acts as a co-solvent and plasticizer to enhance solubility, stability, dissolution, and absorption of poorly soluble APIs in lipid-based formulations, while improving gelatin shell flexibility, moisture retention, and overall capsule integrity.
