COMPRECEL(R) M102 is a partially depolymerized cellulose prepared by acid hydrolysis of purified wood pulp which is nature's most abundant polymer. It is used as key ingredient in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical supplement application, primarily as binder/diluent/disintegration in tablet and capsule formulations in both wet granulation and direct compression processes. Product is derived from purified wood pulp. It is depolymerized cellulose with fiber form of cellulose. It is used as a pharmaceutical excipient and food additive. Color: off white. Odor: odorless. Particle size: fine powder. Taste: tasteless. Solution: Insoluble in water and most organic solvents.
