Type: OTCPharmaceutical form: gastro-resistant tabletsPackaging: 60 gastro-resistant tablets Composition: 1 tablet contains 75 mg of acetylsalicylic acid (Acidum acetylsalicylicum) Indications: Coronary heart disease (coronary artery disease) and any clinical situation where it is deliberate to inhibit platelet aggregation: preventing a heart attack to people at high risk, a recent heart attack or suspected recent heart attack, past episode of unstable coronary artery disease, secondary prevention to people after a heart attack, condition after aortic-coronary bypass grafting, coronary angioplasty, prevention of transient ischemic ischemic (TIA) attacks and ischemic stroke in patients with TIA after ischemic stroke in patients with TIA, to people with obstructive atherosclerosis of peripheral arteries, prevention of venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism in patients who are immobilized for a long time, e.g. after major surgery, as an adjunct to other prophylaxis. Attention: For the recent myocardial infarction (MI) or suspected acute MI, gastro-resistant tablets may be used when acetylsalicylic acid in immediate release tablets is not available. In this case, the gastro-resistant tablets must be chewed very carefully to achieve the rapid absorption.
