COUGH REMEDY KIDS NIGHT SYRUP is a class IIa medical device, with a moisturizing, lubricating and protective effect on the mucous membranes of the upper airways, which calms the cough and fluidizes the mucus, where present, facilitating its expulsion and thus promoting a better night's sleep. Based on honey (16%), fructose and plant extracts (grindelia, marshmallow, plantain, mallow, linden). INNOVATIVE FEATURES The beneficial effects of COUGH REMEDY KIDS NIGHT SYRUP are mainly due to the presence of honey and fructose, which give the syrup a high osmolarity and act according to a physical mechanism. Hyperosmolarity creates an osmotic gradient capable of causing an attraction of water from the surrounding tissues which promotes hydration ofthe surface of the oropharyngeal mucosa and of the mucus or phlegm that can accumulate there. The moisturizing and soothing properties of the formulation are further supported by plant extracts characterized by a high content of polysaccharides and/or resins (grindelia, marshmallow, plantain, mallow, linden). The black currant juice and the aromatic chamomile extract, together with the aroma, give the product a taste pleasing to children.The overall effect of COUGH REMEDY KIDS NIGHT SYRUP is to reduce the feeling of discomfort and irritation that cough induces and to facilitate the removal of any accumulation of mucus and phlegm through expectoration.
