ELDERBERRY EXTRACT

Elderberry fruits in Greenvit's extract are sourced from the local farmers, which means the product full traceability. We rely on special varieties called ?Sampo' (Sambucus nigra ?Sampo') and ?Haschberg' (Sambucus nigra ?Haschberg'),' which, in combination with the appropriate cultivation and harvesting period, gives us the highest content of polyphenols and anthocyanins. Obtaining raw material from cultivation provides us with the consistent quality of the raw material. Sambuci fructus is characterized by a multi-directional biological activity, manifested in its antiviral, antibacterial, antioxidant or immuno-modulating actions, which in turn is to a large extent conditioned by its polyphenols, and in particular anthocyanins.
