PET/AL/PE pharmaceutical laminated film

Information

PET/AL/PE (Polyester/Aluminum Foil/Polyethylene) film is a three-layer composite packaging material manufactured in compliance with YBB 00172002-2015. Laminated with adhesives from PET, aluminum foil and PE, it features high mechanical strength, superior barrier performance and reliable heat-sealing property, and is widely applied in packaging solid pharmaceuticals. 1. Structure & Functions • Outer layer (PET, Polyester): Typical thickness: 12 μm. Applicable temperature range: -40℃ ~ 120℃. • Middle layer (AL, Aluminum Foil): Typical thickness: 7–12 μm. As the core barrier layer, it delivers ultra-low water vapor and oxygen transmission rate (<0.5 g/(m²·24h)), providing complete protection against light, oxygen and moisture to prevent medicines from oxidation, deliquescence and photodegradation. • Inner layer (PE, Polyethylene): Typical thickness: 30–60 μm. Directly in contact with pharmaceuticals, it is non-toxic, chemically stable and has outstanding heat-sealing performance for firm and safe sealing. It is mainly used for solid oral preparations including tablets, capsules, granules, powders and pills. Also applicable to suppositories, medicinal plasters, bulk pharmaceutical。
