Korglutide is a next-generation oral dual GLP-1R/IGF-1R peptide designed to support safe and muscle-preserving weight loss as a non-injectable nutraceutical alternative.
[Product Overview]
Korglutide is a synthetic dual GLP-1R and IGF-1R agonist peptide composed of 7 amino acids, developed by Caregen as a nutraceutical solution for weight management and metabolic health.
Unlike injectable GLP-1 receptor agonists such as semaglutide and liraglutide, Korglutide is designed for once-daily oral administration, offering a convenient and non-invasive alternative aligned with the global shift toward preventive, lifestyle-oriented healthcare.
Korglutide enables fat-selective weight reduction while preserving lean muscle mass, delivering clinically meaningful improvements in glycemic control for individuals with type 2 diabetes. It is suitable for both obese and non-obese populations seeking safe and sustained metabolic benefits.
Notably, Korglutide completed the U.S. FDA New Dietary Ingredient (NDI) notification in January 2026, reinforcing its safety profile and positioning it as a globally compliant and scientifically validated ingredient.
[Human Clinical Results]
Korglutide was evaluated in two 12-week randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase III studies involving obese, overweight, and non-obese individuals with elevated metabolic risk. Participants received once-daily oral Korglutide or placebo without dietary restrictions. In obese and overweight individuals, Korglutide reduced body weight by 10.78%, BMI by 10.83%, HbA1c by 10.98%, WHR by 5.21%, and body fat mass by 20.71%, while skeletal muscle mass decreased only 0.75% and muscle ratio increased 11.40%. In non-obese individuals, body weight, BMI, body fat, and visceral fat decreased by 8.02%, 8.26%, 9.6%, and 9.21%, respectively. Results demonstrated fat-selective weight loss, muscle preservation, and metabolic improvement across both populations.
