Gerresheimer’s Inbeneo® autoinjector with its AI-powered Smart Connected add-on offers a breakthrough in self-injection therapy adherence. The reusable add-on provides real-time visual and audible guidance, automatically detects injection events, and uploads compliance data via cellular connectivity. This present great potential to reduce patient uncertainty and boosting confidence. Leveraging AI-driven two-way messaging through familiar platforms like WhatsApp, it engages patients throughout their therapy journey without requiring a separate app.

Our preliminary results from useability evaluations and patient surveys (n=250) have proven the technology ease of use and the patient openness to new connected and smart devices, presenting excellent opportunities for positive impact on therapy adherence.
