Not every part has to be micro for it to be a true micro molded component. Critical components can be larger but require micro features or tolerances that push the complexities to extremes. For example, components for diagnostics or surgical tools might need microfluidic channels or very thin-wall sections. These types of features can be difficult for traditional molders who are not accustomed to such features.
