About me

Dora Pereda has spent more than 25 years at the intersection of life sciences and talent, connecting the people who develop and deliver therapies with the organizations that need them most. She began her career as a clinical recruiter, built and ran her own staffing firm for nearly 13 years, and today serves as Life Science and Clinical Practice Lead at Advantage Technical, where she focuses on clinical research, CDMO, and regulated industry talent solutions across the mid-Atlantic and nationally. Her practice is concentrated in clinical operations, pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, and clinical trial disclosure, a niche she identified early and has championed through speaking engagements, published writing, and active participation in industry conferences including Clinical Data Disclosure US and the DIA Global Annual Meeting. She brings firsthand fluency in the regulatory, quality, and operational demands her clients face, which shapes how she builds candidate relationships and advises on workforce strategy. Dora believes deeply in continuous learning as a professional obligation, not an optional add-on. She has invested throughout her career in staying current with evolving FDA guidance, global clinical trial transparency requirements, and emerging practice areas, because the people she places deserve a partner who understands the work. That same conviction drives her commitment to STEM equity: broadening access to life sciences careers means more talent entering a field where the stakes are real and the need for diverse perspectives is urgent. She is based in the Pocono region of Pennsylvania and is a volunteer with the Philadelphia STEM Equity Collective. She welcomes conversations with professionals across clinical development, regulatory, and quality functions and with anyone who shares a belief that building the workforce of the future starts with who we bring to the table today.
