In a fast moving world, smart packaging design towards a fully circular economy is a must and no longer a nice to have. At Hoffmann Neopac, a leading tins and tubes producer, HQ based in Switzerland, I'm responsible to work towards our high and demanding sustainability goals to make our tubes more Eco friendly, recycling ready, more efficient, while using less material, without compromising on safety, consumer convenience and esthetics. As a representative at RecyClass, CEFLEX, ETMA, MoreRecycling… I’m contributing to shape the future for plastic packaging and the needed harmonized guidelines, technologies and infrastructure to achieve a global / EU solution. Next to our cosmetics and dental tubes, we’re developing smart solutions into high demanding pharma markets, such as ophthalmic and parenteral applications like SteriDrop™ or Fleximed®. Before joining Hoffmann Neopac AG, I worked 9 years for Dow Chemicals at the PackStudio in Horgen Switzerland, which is part of the Plastics department. Here I gained deep knowledge about the whole value chain of flexible packaging, especially in the area of laminating adhesives.
